These terms govern use of Build Design Solutions Cost, operated by WWW.DIRECTORY.COM.AU PTY LTD (ABN 68 090 816 461). By creating an account you agree to them.

The service

Build Design Solutions Cost produces preliminary construction cost estimates from documents you supply, using automated reading (AI) and a rate library we maintain. It is an estimating aid. It is not a quotation, a tender, a quantity surveyor's report, valuation, or professional advice, and it does not replace your own measurement, subcontractor pricing or professional judgement.

Your content

You confirm you have the right to upload the documents you supply and to have them processed as described in the privacy policy. Drawings remain the property of their authors; we use them only to produce your estimate. You are responsible for keeping your login private.

Acceptable use

Do not upload unlawful content, attempt to access other users' data, probe or overload the service, or resell it without agreement. We may suspend accounts that do.

Accuracy and liability

Estimates depend on the documents supplied and on rates and indices that change. We do not warrant that any estimate is accurate, complete or fit for a particular purpose, and to the extent permitted by law we exclude liability for loss arising from reliance on an estimate. Where the Australian Consumer Law implies guarantees that cannot be excluded, our liability is limited to re-supplying the service.

Pricing and payment

Each AI estimate costs A$295 including GST, payable by card before the estimator runs. Payment is processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. The charge appears on your statement as WWW.DIRECTORY.COM.AU and a tax invoice is emailed to you. The fee covers one drawing set: re-runs of that estimate, scenarios, editing, sharing and exports are included. Quick estimates are free. We may change the price for new estimates at any time; estimates already paid for are unaffected.

Refunds

If the estimator cannot produce an estimate from the documents you supplied, or the service fails, we refund the fee in full. Because the estimate is produced and delivered within minutes of payment, there is no refund for change of mind once processing has started, and no refund because you disagree with the figures - the estimate is a preliminary aid, as described above. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. To request a refund, use the support form quoting the estimate reference.

Changes and termination

We may change the service or these terms; material changes are announced in the app. You may close your account at any time. These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
